Quilt Your Stash

Quilted projects from my stash

# 1 – African fabric from Kenya that I brought back from a mission trip to teach basic Sewing Skills to Mums that have disabled children so they can use these skills to help earn money for supporting their families. These Mums have been “SHUNNED” from their community because of their childrens disabilities. Pattern is the fractured Nine patch I pieced and quilted this.

#2 -Baby quilt I designed , appliqued  the zebra and quilted this. Used Minkie for backing

#3 – This queen size quilt pattern is “California Nites” I pieced , appliqued and  quilted it.

#4 – This queen size quilt pattern started out being a square which wasn’t big enough so parts were added. The main part is called “Circle of Nine” I also made 5 pillows to match it. Flowers machine appliqued.

#5 – This is a table cloth. I had cut out a 60″ circle years ago so recently I found it and decided to make it into a whole cloth. Stitched it with black Glide thread then colored some of the pattern in with WaterColor Pencils and then sealed it with Fabric Medium.
