I redesigned an old bridesmaids dress I bought for a quarter to enter in my county fair’s fashion show. I am 15 years old and made this dress to wear to my school’s homecoming dance this fall. It is a short, strapless, pewter grey dress with a tiered skirt. It cost me a total of $5 to make my new dress.

this is wonderful--looks great---I sewed alot when I was your age- at your age it is fantastic that you are so creative. keep up the wonderful and fun things.
Fabulous job! You have a very creative vision and I really admire that you find this treasure at a thrift store. You did an amazing job with it. Keep sewing. It will bring you much pleasure in life.
You are awesome!
You took a dress that looked like it should be a drapery for a very unfashionable window and made it into a beautiful, stylish dress. Great job. I'd love to see more of your makeover creations.
Good job! I look forward to seeing more from you!
You have imagination, vision, skill. This rejected gown was beautifully repurposed!
