Scrappy Wool Skirt

I needed a skirt to wear to a funeral.  I had lots of wool scraps but nothing big enough for a skirt.  So I sewed strips of wool together, tapering in at the waist and made this fun wrap around skirt.  The main concern in construction was that the strips followed the grainline. The skirt is so flattering as the lines are slenderizing and the taper at the waist looks very nice.

Clever woman. Just goes to show that there is no such thing as scrap material.
