A Mad Tea-Party
I adore Halloween. Not for the candy or crazy parties, but simply because it is the perfect excuse for the little girl inside me to dress up!
Although I have no problem wearing crinolines in my everyday life, there is something wonderful about dressing up as a Disney cartoon character, complete with poofy petticoat.
And I just had to include Valentino, so I made him his very own Mad Hatter costume. All of the fabric and notions for his outfit were gathered from my stash. Sometimes last minute ideas come together!
[I drafted my Alice costume, and used Simplicity 2740 as a base for my little Mad Hatter.]
