Merida
Even before she saw Brave my Daughter know she wanted to be Merida. After much searching we found McCall's 5499 and went to work. I made a full underdress using the unaltered pattern. For the over dress I altered the sleeves and added fabric tabs. We added a bear on the forearms and knotwork on the hem using stencles and glitter fabric paint. The wig, belt, quiver, arrows and bow we already had. She enjoys it so much I have had to convince her that they wont let her wear it iin school.
Pattern or design used: Mccall's 5499 altered to suit needs
