Exotic
Exotic – a look born under the southern stars. Africa has inspired many couturiers and designers, with international catwalks showcasing one breathtaking exotic-look creation after another. This style harmoniously combines western fashion with elements of African folklore. A mix of patterns and bright colors with chic, light caftan styles radiates charm, even in the metropolitan jungle! High wedges and chunky wooden or leather jewelry perfectly accessorize this outfit.

Edgy
For several years now, this Edgy style has been acceptable in polite society. In fact, this look is all the rage, since a nostalgic vintage boudoir style offers a marvelous contrast to the rest of mainstream fashion. Edgy showcases the 'Snow White' look: pale skin, black hair and red lips, wasp waist, sexy corset, mega-high heels and perfect makeup. Black, red, cream and gold are the defining colors of this look. The styles are figure-hugging and sexy, without descending into brashness. Lacing and trim provide clever accents in just the right places.

Romantic
Ruffles and flounces, a touch of pink combined with neutral beige and powder shades – that's the playful romantic look. For materials, silk-satin, delicate chiffon and viscose mixes fit the bill, with the variety of fabrics creating lively, appealing garments with a particularly polished style. Ladybugny writes: Well I always thought that I'm more classic then any of your choices. But now that I'm in my 60's with a bit of a roll for a midriff and a tummy that has no tummy muscles left. So if I had to pick one I guess I'd say that now I lean more to exotic because I do like my cloths to be lose,have some movement, and hide what age has done.

If I need to dress up, I might wear something in the business style, but much more classic than the above pattern. Or to really dress up (as in a very dressy outfit) again, I would be wearing something much more classic - less frilly and less revealing.

But the idea is fun.

Mamato8 writes: I would say that I am more classic. I like tailored jackets when I have the right shape for them. I like full skirts and shirt dresses. Sometimes I think my style belongs in the 40's. Comfort before style, but style if I can get it in a comfortable form.

I am creative. I don't know what my daughter would do if I actually followed the pattern as written! I like things to be simple. I use a simple pattern with wonderful print fabric. I like to say, "I let the fabric do the work." I like my clothes to be flattering and practical. That's why I like prints! They hide a lot of fingerprints and loving from my children and grandchildren.
