Missoni Inspired Dress

Neckline close-up

Inspired by the chevron fabric of Missoni, I went out searching for that zig zag print.  I found this light knit in greens, tan, black and ivory.  I lined it with an ivory, medium weight knit but left the sleeves shear.  I used the selvage edge along the hem and stitched a strip of the selvage at the neck.  I finished it off with some beads along the neck as well.  They blend in and create a subtle detail.

Imaginative and subtle. A lot of thought went into this dress.
