Simplicity: Spring Collection 2013
Spring into style with these new patterns from Simplicity!
Featured in the Cynthia Rowley Collection is pattern 1654, a misses' dress with sleeveless or capped-sleeve variations. It also includes optional top-stitched bodice details that add a lovely embellishment to the simple silhouette.
From our very own Threads collection, you'll find pattern 1664. It's the perfect look to ease into spring. It includes a misses' corset-style top that features a peplum or is cropped, a gathered knee-length skirt, wide-legged pants with side zipper, and a fitted jacket with princess seams, 3/4 sleeves, and a Peter Pan collar. This complete look is perfect to mix and match on warmer days.

Threads hasn't tested this pattern, so I can't say for sure. However, I looked at the pattern pieces and the pattern's evelope and instructions carefully, and my best guess is that the waist in #1664 falls at the actual waist.
