Add Sophisticated Vintage Details to Create Feminine Suits

Vintage details uncovered in a Hollywood costume collection deserve a revival in today's looks.
Threads magazine - 164 - Dec. 2012/Jan. 2013

Threads Senior Technical Editor Judith Neukam loves to watch movies from the Thirties and Forties to study the wardrobes. The women from those decades wore sophisticated, feminine suits that were anything but menswear-inspired. The construction techniques and stylish touches motivate Judith to add delicious details to her own creations. The last time she was in Hollywood to peruse the suits at the Western Costume Collection (WesternCostume.com), she photographed some of these fabulous garments. In this article from Threads #164, Dec. 2012/Jan. 2013, we take a closer look at three vintage suits and see how yesteryear’s glamour can be applied to today’s patterns.

I keep getting stuck in a perpetual loop and can't get to the article! No links are directly associated with this article. Tjis is cray! I guess I could go to my storage unit and find the box of my Threads magazines and then look for THAT issue, but who has that much time? Not me!
