Summer skirts....love short skirts, they can be dressed up or down...very versatile!
I am inspired by the dress on the back cover of Threads magaine number 168 - a 1930s gown made from a fun, flirty rayon georgette floral print. Its most stunning (and inspiring) design detail is its self-fabric boa like feathers adorned to its plunging v-neck back and armholes.
I'm looking forward to sewing a bias cut silk maxi skirt this summer.
I am excited about making dresses, especially some easy knit ones.
