   My fav garment is a comfortable top to wear with jeans. My current challenge is pattern adjustment for garments that I work on for my plus-sized step-daughter.
   Altering patterns is a challenge for me as I'm a novice.

   I love to sew dresses best because I always wear dresses and they are easier to sew than pants or shirts! But I really should take the time to finally learn how to make a pair of good fitting pants

   My newest sewing love is shirt dresses. I recently finished Colette's Hawthorn Dress pattern and I feel in love. I am already designing the next one in my head! Plus there is usually not a lot of fitting problems. I would love to be able to make pants but the fitting scares me to death!

   I just finished my Craftsy Class with Sandra Betzina. I am having so much fun learing to sew. I bought my first sewing machine last year on Black Friday. I am completely self taught...well...with the help of you tube and Craftsy. The goal is work trousers. I mastered the front fly zipper insertion replaying Sandras video lesson like 100 times! LOL. My next weekend off, I will finally bring out the real fabric. I have made 3 muslins-which were a fitting nightmare. I opted to sign up for Sandra's Pant fitting class, and realized where I was going wrong. Anyway, I would love to win this Garment Construction Book. Good Luck to me ;-)

   I love to sew garments made from patterns by The Sewing Workshop and Cutting Lines Designs. I went to a workshop with Linda Lee and Louise Cutting and fell in love with their patterns. Plus I learned so much.

    my favourite (but involved) garment that i have thus far sewn is a blazer. but, to be honest, i love the process of sewing, so i am happy making most things. i would absolutely love this book: reading about technique has replaced my fiction addiction!

    Shirts as it is so easy to find great, fun fabrics. I also like nice finishing details like French seams, even if no one else can see them.

    This book would be a great help to me. I have just started back sewing apparel garments for me. Adjusting patterns is a must for my size and everything I read helps me.

    I am just learning how to sew. So every book I see I devouring it to get a understanding of material, patterns, how to's. My favorite item to sew is a maxi dress...I would like to learn how to add a collar to it.

    It's been a long time since I made adult clothes. I have a delightful 14 year old grand daughter that loves clothes and the few I've made for her. I would like to take it to the next level and will need all the help I can get. This would be at the least a good start.
