Calvin Klein anorak from 1990, Vogue 2461

I goofed on the pockets; they are not meant to hang open like that! I misinterpreted the instructions.
I do like the hood on this jacket.
Vogue 2461, Anorak, Calvin Klein, 1990. On the willowy model this seems to fit fine. But typical of its time, this has a whole lot of design ease.
The design ease above the drawstring waist is enough to accommodate a backpack, I think!
Too big, dont you think? (And I even made a muslin!)

Vogue 2461, Calvin Klein anorak, from 1990 (out of print). I had long wanted to make this jacket, which had the waist definition I wanted. However, I discovered that this has LOTS of design ease, characteristic of its era. I took some ease out, but not enough! I tell the story of this project on my blog, Getting Things Sewn, at http://gettingthingssewn.com/project-vogue-2461-1990-calvin-klein-anorak-part-5/
