I was inspired by Reed Krakoff’s simple but striking use of color blocking. I wanted to create a very delicate and soft dress that used color blocking in a very light but striking way. I used linen (orange) and a silk linen blend (pink) for this dress. I used the very flowy and soft silk linen blend at the neckline so that it would drape nicely. I also used a red zipper in the back to add a little more yet subtle color to the dress.
