CKsews CKsews writes: I really need Threads help and expertise to learn serging basics and special techniques. My terrific husband bought a very nice serger for me and I struggle with it every time in using it, even for basic 4-thread overlock. The tensions and how to tweak them, when to use 3, 4 or 5 thread overlock, and the best way to perform the coverstitch hem to look great and consistantly catch cut edge underneath. I end up going back to my 1970s Bernina in most cases.

Threads magazine has shown me basic and new techniques in every issue through the years. I look forward to reading each issues when it arrives. Thanks for a great resource.

I would eventually love to buy myself a newer/nicer serger but only if I know I will utilize it more than my current one; I think having a copy of this DVD might just inspire me to do that!
