My sister saw this jacket in a magazine and wanted one made with an aztec throw that she had found. I was nervous making it for her, as the throw she chose was a triple woven throw. So, I decided to make one for myself first, to see if I could do it. She liked it and I eventually made her the jacket that she wanted also. I traced the pattern pieces first, then straight stitched inside the lines to prevent excess fraying while sewing it. Then I double serged all the seams, to keep them from fraying. This made it well constructed and able to be washed in the washing machine. It makes a nice, cozy jacket to wear out on a fall evening.

The textured color combination of this jacket is really nice.
