I altered the bodice of a dres and added a gathered skirt. The fabric is pina fabric from the Philippines. It was given to me by my mother. I wanted a simple dress to showcase the embroidery. There is an invisible on the side and I can put it over a different sheath dress to change the look. The belt is made from a belt buckle kit. I used organza over silk dupioni so that the belt backing would not be visible.
