For my daughter’s wedding, I made this 3-piece ensemble from an irridescent Indian sari, using the metallic border to full advantage. I extended the narrow border on the two front edges around the neckline and closed it with three metal ball buttons and thread loops. It can be worn without the jacket as a 2-piece dress and I have enough fabric left for slim pants or a shorter skirt.
