Sara's Eiffel Tower Sundress

My granddaughter, age 12, designed and sewed this sundress for a trip to Paris.  I modified the Burda pattern # 9697, and helped her with the instructions, but she did all of the sewing on a Singer machine that was made in 1938 (it was my grandmothers).

The pattern had a drop waist, gored skirt, and shoulder straps.  She wanted a circle skirt, natural waist, and neck strap.  She loves it, and so do I.
