Georgia’s Coat

I was given the fabric and three magazine photos, each with parts of what she wanted. I put a few things together and made up some. The irridecent fabric was so wonderful. It looked green one direction and purple the other. To play with that I pleated the collar, cuffs and belt in back. I ran a lot of details in different directions. The lining I found was perfect, as were the buttons.

Your interesting details shows off the shot fabric beautifully. It is very similar in colour to the dress I made for my mother to wear for my wedding.
