Halloween Costume Contest 2014

He wanted a king costume – we chose infamy

All hail His Grace, Joffrey of Houses Baratheon and Lannister, First of His Name, King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm

Massive, massive GOT fans in this house (well the adults anyway).  So, when Mr 6 asked for a king costume , I knew exactly what he was going to get. The jacket was made using McCalls 5214 from some jacquard furnishing fabric. The cape features the lion applique from McCalls 6940 . He has a very talented Daddy who carved the crown out of leather, painted it and added the jewels. We used a long rectanlge of silk for the sash and  used an old belt with a fancy buckle to finish it off.
