SewStylish Spring Fashion Challenge 2015

Vintage tween

This fun border print was just what I was hoping to find for the vintage pattern I used.

I made this for my 11 year old daughter who loves vintage clothes. I used a pattern from the 50’s and found this gorgeous border print cotton quilting fabric. I used bias tape to create a little detailed contrast on the sleeve hem, cut the bodice and sleeves to make the most of the fabric print and a purchased belt to finish it off. She wore it to school the first day it was warm enough.
