Swing Jacket front. Silk Organza over Silk Dupioni.

Skirt front.  Main garden scene is embroidered on the Silk Organza but if you look at the bottom of the skirt you will see that I embroidered a design on the silk dupioni underskirt to create a 3D effect.
Jacket collar.  Trims are all hand sewn on.
Close up of one of the embroideries showing the hand beading I added.
Chunk, one of my many sewing assistants - actually creating a sewing challenge.  I know there are many of you that have the same type of assistant, but dont we love them.

The Garden Party is made on Silk Dupioni, Silk Lining and Silk Organza. Embroidery Designs are Sue Box but I chose my own colors and added hand beading.  The back of jacket and skirt are also embroidered.

Pattern or design used: My Own Design - Started with Simplicity pattern and modified a lot for an ASG / Simplicity Sewing Challenge
