I got 2 kinds of material. One was the poodle “fur”, the other a matching black fabric with some give. I used the giving fabric as a lining. Each leg, the tail body and head/neck were all made to fit my dog & sewn separately. I then put the body piece on her and placed the legs & tail. I used Velcro to “wrap” the legs & tail to attach to itself. The head/neck piece was kept as a separate piece. I added ears to the head by sewing them in place. Once everythin was attached, I clipped the “hair” in a poodle cut & saved the clippings. I glued these clippings to the head & ears with a spray adhesive. I made the bows from ribbon & sewed them in place. Then blackened her face & paws with children’s face coloring. TA-DA!!
