The blue-grey 1950’s jacket

Just before Lisbon, I whipped up a blue-grey jacket (or cape?) in wool and silk. For once, I used a commercial pattern (Vogue Vintage Model V2934, an original 1950’s design) and apart from making it one size smaller than suggested, I only altered the pattern slightly (shorter sleeves, more narrow cuffs). I started to follow the instructions, but didn’t like the result with the wide horsehair interfacing and facing in wool, so I made my own version.

And I have to say I love my version! As usual, you can read a lot more on my blog www.stinap.com
