Ansari Couture has recently launched a website in response to the overwhelming demand for the couture fabrics that Ms. Ansari personally selects and imports from France, Italy, and England. I paid a visit to the Ansarifabrix website to see the offerings.
I’m happy to find a resource for silk fabrics in a wide color selection. For example, Ansarifabrix has a great color selection in 4 ply silk for $59 a yard, Crepe De Chine for $28 a yard, and Habotai (China Silk) for $10 a yard, and more. They have a beautiful lace collection too. But my favorite is the remnant section with some real bargains for the experienced shopper. When I visited they had a couture French ribbon fabric, a 1.25 yard square for $78.00. The last time I saw a fabric like this, it was priced close to $500 a yard.
