My dear Hubby showing off his new apron for the BBQ. If it wasn't 7 below zero, he'd be out grilling right now!

My first project for 2009 is complete! At my husband's request, I made him a Jimmie Johnson (NASCAR) BBQ Apron. I used See & Sew pattern number: B4585, but skipped the ribbon. I had trouble finding a #48 Jimmie Johnson print in a cotton or cotton blend, so I ended up purchasing a shower curtain from Amazon.com. It was a bit pricey, but I have lots of material left to make him a couple pillows for his "Man Cave". I had a lot of fun and am looking forward to my next project: Nascar Pillows!
