Silk duchesse satin wedding gown with beaded and sequined lace tulle underlined in silk organza and lined with silk taffeta. Nylon tulle was used for the attached crinoline. The ruched midriff accented the bride’s small waist and the sheer lace in the bodice gave the illusion of exposed skin without “overexposure.” Due to the stiffness of the satin with the organza underlining, the train only required three bustles.

The dress is amazing! I am doing my daughter's wedding dress and am having trouble with the button closure on the back. You mentioned button loops over an invisible zipper. Can you provide any advice. Thanks
I used elastic loop tape in the seam in the left side of the zipper. You have to be careful when moving the slide up and down but it seemed to make a attractive closure with an invisible zipper. I wanted the loops without the distraction of the topstitching that usually comes with buttons on top of a zipper.
Great work.so very very beautiful!
Rebecca, a good friend of mine is getting married and she found a designer dress that was nearly identical to this one for over $3,000 - a little out of her price range. We have been looking for months to find another that came close but unable to find ANYTHING. Do you still have this dress? If so, is it for sale? If not, would you be willing to make another? Thank you!
Was there an article in Threads that told you how to put in bridal loops and buttons with an invisible zipper under the buttons and loops? If so what issue?
