Champagne silk duchesse satin gown with embellished lace tulle bodice and train.  Midriff uses reverse side of duchesse satin.  Hem is reinforced with horsehair braid.
Keyhole back plunges to ruched midriff with elastic button looping and pearl buttons that disguise an invisible zipper.  Lace is hand sewn to tea dyed silk organza for stability.
Lace motifs are hand sewn and spaced from waist to hem of train.  The triangular train insert is embellished lace and handsewn in place.
Ruched midriff and skirt are underlined with silk organza and gave skirt body and wrinkle resistance.  Midriff lining includes several pieces of metal, spiral boning to support the skirt and bodice.  Bra cups were covered in tulle and hand stitched into the bust lining.
Go big or go home were the brides exact words when she saw the length of this train.  Im glad she was game.  This lace was so beautiful I had to show it off.

Silk duchesse satin wedding gown with beaded and sequined lace tulle underlined in silk organza and lined with silk taffeta.  Nylon tulle was used for the attached crinoline.  The ruched midriff accented the bride's small waist and the sheer lace in the bodice gave the illusion of exposed skin without "overexposure."   Due to the stiffness of the satin with the organza underlining, the train only required three bustles.

mrsholland mrsholland writes: Rebecca, a good friend of mine is getting married and she found a designer dress that was nearly identical to this one for over $3,000 - a little out of her price range. We have been looking for months to find another that came close but unable to find ANYTHING. Do you still have this dress? If so, is it for sale? If not, would you be willing to make another? Thank you!

You have to be careful when moving the slide up and down but it seemed to make a attractive closure with an invisible zipper. I wanted the loops without the distraction of the topstitching that usually comes with buttons on top of a zipper.
