This bag is made from faux python. No snakes were skinned for this creation. It is interfaced with fusible fleece and lined with black cotton duck. The pleather material was a challenge to sew. It took me a while to figure out that I had to place tracing paper under my foot as I stitched but I was pleased with the results. I used a bronze metal ring from my stash to decorate the flap which has a magnetic snap on the back.

Thanks for the comment. I found this python fabric at a factory in a small town in Maine that manufactures bags and also sells left over fabric to the public.
