Inspired by the Roses article in the latest Threads, I used Dad's old ties to create roses and leaves. Natty style with sentimental overtones...I plan to make them for my 4 sisters too. I try to incorporate Dad's old ties in garments as bindings, facings and trim. This was the perfect match of fabric and technique.

So glad you like them. I am on my 5th one and they all look a little different and really nice. I got the idea from the latest threads, May 09, with the orange cover. Have fun and post some of your creations! My friend makes wallets out of men's ties, I'll try to get her to post. Cheers! Posted: 10:46 pm on April 15th
