I used Simplicity 4070 (view F), but altered the lace overlay pieces from a princess seam to a front dart. I also added a waist stay to keep the dress from shifting. The dress is made from a 100% viscose coral crepe and overlaid with a 100% cotton turquoise lace. These 2 bright colors really pop and add sunshine to every room. The bodice was interlined with a white 100% cotton, the boning was attached to another 100% cotton then mounted at the side seams and the lining is yet another 100% cotton. The colors and the fabric choices are perfect for graduations, brunches, picnics, parties, or even walking around town. The natural fibers allow the wearer’s skin to breathe and prevent them from getting too warm.
