I adapted Butterick pattern 6330 to create a reversible spring sleeveless maxi dress to accommodate a double sided scuba knit I found at the local Fabricville shop. I consulted the article in Threads # 187, for tips in sewing scuba knits and successfully followed the advice for needle and stitch settings. I stitches the dress as instructed by the pattern using the floral side as the “outside”, finishing the visible seams on the geometric side by turning under the edges and top stitching down both sides of the seam. The neck ,arm openings , and hem edges were all double rolled to geometric side and stitched down as a decorative accent. Love wearing it with my jean jacket!

I love this fabric and what you did with it. I just posted my interpretation of it. I'm glad we don't live in the same city. lol. Good luck and enjoy the summer in your beautiful maxi!
