This bucket style handbag is from a Mary Jo Hiney pattern and uses her fabric packets, although it could certainly be made from your own scraps.  I love a purse with a flat bottom so that it stands up and looks good all by itself.  I always seem to under estimate the time it takes to make a purse, but it is well worth the effort.  The pattern lends itself to many different variations which will be fun to play with in the future.
