There's still plenty of time to sew and enter your linen garments into the challenge for the chance to win the new 1100D Serger from Janome. (Of course, you can also enter a garment you've already made, but we know you want to sew something new, right?) To help you in the process, here's a great article on the ins and outs of sewing with linen to help you get the best looking garment you can:

Easy and Elegant Linen

This comprehensive article by Susan Khalje shows you what notions are best for sewing on linen, how to match the seam finish to your fabric weight, how to create gathers and bound buttonholes on linen and much, much more.

We can't wait to see all the amazing linen garments you add to the contest gallery! Happy sewing!

You can enter a garment you have already created and written about on your blog. You will still need to upload the photos of your garment to our contest gallery. Click the link to "Enter your project" at the top of the page and share your photos.
