This is a very extremely shiny liquid silver lame' single-piece long-sleeved bodyshirt bodysuit that I sewed together myself using less than a yard of elastic for the leg openings, 14 inches of velcro for the zip, more velcro for the sleeve cuffs, and 2 yards of a very shiny liquid silver lame' fabric that's made of a very silky 100% polyester.

The bodysuit features long sleeves with cuffs, a velcro zipper, and a short collar. (The sleeves even have small velcro on them.)

It took me 3 hours to sew this item together on a singer brand sewing machine. I'm guessing with black tights or black pants it could be worn as part of a latin dance (or any kinda dance costume. Not totally sure, though. Please tell me what you would wear it with and for what occation!) Please tell me what you think of the item.

MsChevus writes: Gorgeous, the other bodysuits you made are also! I would use these for bellydance - put crop top or bra over the top with matching harem pants under a skirt or panels. I have used this fabric for harem pants and veils, it moves beautifuly. I call it liquid lame' to distinguish it from the stiffer type of lame'. I have found over time the fabric "dulls" and is more of an antique gold that the bright shiny gold. It is still beautiful and since all the pieces of the outfit are the same I don't mind. I would be nice to have a hook and eye system in the crotch area as opposed to taking the top off when nature calls. Otherwise, very nice work! Posted: 8:54 am on August 26th
