Summer Sewing Challenge - Express Yourself in Linen

Linen Pointillist Jacket

Linen Pointillist Jacket

For a long time I wanted to try a technique seen in Threads Sept. 1996 (!) a Pointillist Quilting article, showing uses for cobweb lace netting.  I saved colorful Jinny Beyer cotton quitling scraps and used Indygo Junction Mismatched Medley IJ604 pattern on a medium-weight linen and this is the result. Hope you like it!

Imaginative use of the pointillist technique for the perfect summer jacket. Great job!

This is very cute, I like the colors you picked, it's a sophisticated palette, great job! ... of course now I just have to find that back issue and try it myself.
