Mamaw is recovering from pnuemonia at the rehab center. When she needed a Halloween outfit for their party, I had to get creative. Getting something on her easy was the objective.  I decided to construct a clown outfit in sections. I used bright cotton in  two layers to make a tie on collar. It actually looks like a bib. Then I fashoined a hat and made a pom pom for the tassel on top.  Using long strips I attached elastic to make cuffs for her hands and legs. My serger made quick work of the outfit.  This is the preliminary pictures before the party day.  When she saw herself in the mirror she let out a chuckle and was thoroughly amused.

3mom writes: This is elderly abuse!! If I was working in this facility and the family dressed up the patient and posted these pictures like you have, I would report them!! November 6th is not Halloween!!! Bless her heart she looks like she isn't amused! This is very distasteful! I wondered if she signed a consent form for you to post pictures of her in a vulnerable moment!! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!
