Evil Flying Monkey
October 26th, 2009 in reader's closetThis is an Evil Flying Monkey from the Wizard of Oz that I made for my 2 1/2 year old son. I used McCall’s pattern 8938 as my starting point and crafted my own pattern and design for the vest and wings. The feathers on the wings are real and hand dyed by me to match. The fabrics are plush faux fur and faux suede for the body and felt for the vest – oh and craft fur for the mohawk.
I have a blog with more info and photos on my creative process www.jennbot.wordpress.com
