Halloween Contest

Fortunately, Rumba endured the "cape" draped over his flanks. They looked great at a canter! Her painted cardstock hat had to fit over her helmet -- we used Velcro to secure it. The leatherette tabs are fastened to the breast strap with Velcro, but sewed to the saddle blanket. Morgan wears a tunic length costume because she must wear short chaps and boots. The hat, its fabric drape, the cape and the tunic trim all have glitter on them and her girdle is sequins. All of the fleur de lis and diamonds are attached with Pellon "Wonder Under".
