Re: Giveaway: SewStylish Spring 2012 Fashion Sewing Guide
I have been sewing since I was in grade school and I see there are things I can still learn. I was very surprised by the article about pinning. I had an aha moment. I would love to read the entire magazine. I always learn something from any Threads magazine I read.

I would love to improve my hand stitiching techniques. I have her fabric guide and use it regularly.

This season is a bit "pedestrian" LOL It's been pretty boring and I do dislike all the drama. I usually watch the beginning to see the challenge and then the end to watch the runway show. I usually clean or sleep through the rest of it and I hate cleaning.

I am in the process of creating my own clothing line. The tips and techniques in this book would be a great help. I have forgotten sooo many of the things I learned in design school years and years and years...ago. This book would refresh my memory and teach this old dog some new tricks of the trade.

I have been a fan of Stephen Burrows since I was 12. His designs are simple yet elegant and beautiful. I am glad he is designing again.

I stopped watching 3 episodes before the finale. I have not been impressed by any of the designers for a couple of seasons now. I liked when they first moved to Bravo and L.A. and there was no Nina or Michael. That was a good season.

I watch to see what the challenge will be, then I fall asleep until the runway show. That is my favorite part and it is way too short. I am looking forward to the new Bravo show Launch My Line. Could be interesting.
