When I was a child I would cut patterns from from newspaper and make skirts for myself and my little sister. By the time I reached my teens I grew tired of sewing, I didnt sew again until I was married and we moved into our new home. I made curtains and other items for the house. At 24 I started taking sewing classes at the local college, that really started me sewing again. At 40 my husband and I owned a Singer Sewing Center, we sold machines, had a line of fabrics, and all the notions, ( I love notions and am a big collecter)I gave sewing lessons, and did mending for my customers. Now I don't sew as much but still love to keep with what is new. I could start a new store with what I buy, I still enjoy shopping
for any thing that is new.

Re: Fabric woven from spider webs

It is amazing to see what wonderful things can be done when you set your mind to it. Great going, wish I could see this piece of wonder in person.
