Re: Book Giveaway: "Embroidered Textiles" by Sheila Paine

My heritage is Hungarian, so I grew up with traditional embroidered items throughout the house. My mother taught me how to embroider the flowers when I was young. I think the traditional designs are so cheerful, with their bright reds, blues and lilacs. I admire all embroidery, but to this day, the Hungarian design is still my favorite.

I wanted to give a heartfelt thank you to the Editors for placing my garment as "Runner Up". I was pleasantly surprised and am honored. Thank you, as well, to the kind comments. This challenge was fun and very inspiring. There is great talent out there. Pamela (Couturegirl)
