I used elastic loop tape in the seam in the left side of the zipper. You have to be careful when moving the slide up and down but it seemed to make a attractive closure with an invisible zipper. I wanted the loops without the distraction of the topstitching that usually comes with buttons on top of a zipper.

What a classy and stunning dress, timeless in its simplicity but striking in color and asymmetry. Bravo!
