The Addams Family
We were the Addams Family - Gomez, Morticia, and Wednesday. I made all three costumes. It was quite a challenge for me, but I think I pulled it off well. I used a formal dress...

Re: MAGAZINE GIVEAWAY: "Quick Stuff to Sew"
Wow, well, I have taken the handmade pledge this year, just lost my job, so I am definitely making all gifts this year! I will make scarves, aprons, notebooks, kitchen towels, blankets, all kinds of stuff. Just stuck on what to make for the men tho...manly scarves and manly towels...I could do that!

Honestly, I don't even know what draping is... It seems like it would be a great technique to learn tho!

I plan on making quite a few things after this month. I am currently making my wedding dress and will be making a flower girl dress for my Daughter. After that, I am going to make a cat teepee for a friend, a baby set for another friend - bib, blanket, booties, doll sleeping bag and chair for my Daughter's American Girl doll, and loads of other things!

I sew for my Daughter. She will be nine next week. She loves going to the fabric store to pick out her own fabric and then to pick a pattern. I have been sewing for her since she was born - making clothes, costumes, and random little crafty projects. She is finding her own crafty bug ad wants my "old" machine since I just got a new one for myself. This would be a wonderful book for her! Thank you for the opportunity to win it!

I'd love to have the DVD set. Having a "moving" visual of what and how to do something as opposed to looking at a picture, would be great!

This was quite simply, AWESOME!!! Thank you so much. I just about gave up on Halloween costumes this year because I just could not figure out how to do the zipper with a Vogue pattern. Ay yay yay! You saved Halloween! Thank you so much!!!
