Threads always has a vast amount technical and inspirational ideas. I always learn something new from them and having a hard copy in my hands allows me ease of use when it's time to do a project.
I'd love to become a Threads insider so I could watch the technic videos. I picked up several great tips during my trial period and would love to have the chance to learn more.
VEN WAS TERRIBLE!! I think he should have gone home instead of Nathan! At least Nathan's client liked her dress. Ven's customer service was terrible!
I loved Gunnar's attitude this episode even if I thought the garment construction looked a bit sloppy.
Fabio had the most dramatic change and original dress so good for him for winning.
Ven just made me so SO sad.
I just got a dress form and would love to learn draping techniques. I am am always looking for new ways to add something special to everyday wear so I would love to drape some knit tops.
Oohh! I love making unique dresses and clothing! This would be an exciting skill to learn!
My grandmother taught me to sew and I have been encouraged by my parents to be creative and grow my skills. Being taller than average has kept me sewing clothes so I get the fit and length I want.
I have been sewing for myself for several years. I am now starting to sew more for others and want to take the time to make professional looking stuff for us all!
Love that dress!! I want the pattern and the fabric! Super fun!
Fun! Love the appliques!
I really like Audrey Hepburn although I have a figure more like Twiggy! This sounds like a fun book!
It would be great to see the videos and have access to the back issues online!
I am sorting through a bunch of old patterns I recently inherited and am loving the 1940's to 1950's styles!!
Thanks for this link!! Getting to see amazing museum exhibits while sitting at home is great!!
The Custom Lace Top would probably be the first place I would go. I have been thinking about making a lace top this spring and having some pointers would be great!
Bra making and sewing spaces sound the most interesting. It is always a challenge to keep everything organized for me.
This is beautiful! I can't wait to try it on something!
I'm sewing a new table runner for my grandmother, some cloth books for nieces and nephews, some purses and I'm not sure what else! It's always a struggle to find man stuff to sew.
Dresses for me too! As well as some knit shirts that go beyond the average tee shirt!
My Grandma taught me to sew the sleeve in before sewing up the sideseam. It makes things so much easier most of the time. The second most useful was press as you sew! Makes things look so much crisper and finished.
