I would like to see the video mentioned in the eletter I received, would you please post it and send an update to the eletter too?
I like to use elastic to gather side seams on knit tops instead of gathering using thread. I figured if the top is a knit, and has ruching in the seam, wouldn't you want it to stretch too? I've also used clear elastic to stabilize shoulder seams but have never placed it inside the seam. So guess what I'm going to sew tonight..... XD!!!!
I love to sew tailored pants and skirts, and while I have fun making knit tops, I am currently working on fitting woven shirts, since they are more flattering and appropriate for work.
I like to use good high quality fabrics and casual style silhouettes, but would like to add a edgy twist to them to keep from looking too preppy. Maybe learning to draft one's own patterns is the way to attempt this styling, so I would appreciate winning Connie Crawford's book Patternmaking Made Easy.
Thanks for your consideration! Happy sewing to all!
I love to make gifts for Christmas, but some new inspiration would be welcome!
I'm always looking for different ways to use embroidery designs too. This book looks like a friendly, inventive way to make handmade gifts even more personal.
