I started sewing when I was about 10 years old on my mothers treadle Singer sewing machine. Mom taught me all she knew and it wasnt long before I started making my own clothes.

When I look back I cringe to think that I wore them to school.

I would love to learn some couture techniques

craft interests: quilting, sewing, tole painting - carving
