Re: A Beautiful Hem for a Four-Ply Silk Crepe

Beautiful technique, Mr. King! I wish I had known about this when I was making bridesmaid dresses for our daughter's wedding a few years ago. Question, please: Does the tulle stiffen the hem, or is it still soft and flowing? Thank you for all of your great articles.

Re: DVD GIVEAWAY: Industry Insider Techniques with Louise Cutting Volumes 1-4

I've sewn for years, but am mostly self taught. I'd love to learn the right way to do things and perfect my techniques.

Re: Free Patterns for Three Apron Styles

Savannagal, you can the pattern by using graph paper with one inch squares, or you can make the graph paper yourself, using tissue paper or inexpensive craft paper. Each of the little squares represents one inch. My first sewing project in junior high school was to make an apron out of a yard of fabric. This brings back great memories.
