It is wonderful to find a book that brings together the history of the underfashions. As a corsetiere and bramaker I drive the local librarians crazy asking for books on the history of womens' fashion with this critical part of the stylings included in them. I saw the review in my current issue of Threads magazine and got excited. It will be an valued part of my library if I win.

I have a HUGE collection of ribbons - of various lengths and widths, this book is an inspiration to turn my stash into wonderful gifts for friends and family.... I might even keep some for me!

I have the Time Life series from the 70's. My mom bought them and I use them al the time. It has lots of great corture techniques along with tones of pictures. If anyone has a chance to pick them up, I hightly recommend them.
