my inspiration comes from many different sources- online, runways, film, bloggers, even the street!
Belly and bum issues here! Fitting bottoms is such a challenge that I generally stick to flowy dresses.
The Emery Dress sounds just right for me!
That Boho Frock is adorable!
I love working with knits -skirts, tops, dresses.
To add another garment-making option to my knit/crochet skills. So cool to combine techniques!
I was surprised that the judges gave the win to Kate rather than Dom. I loved both dresses, but thought that they would have appreciated the modern look over the almost steampunk period piece. And I loved Bradon's gown as well, was disappointed he didn't make the top 3!
Always use distilled water, and test a corner of your fabric to ensure the right temperature. I'd use this iron for pressing seams and all other pressing and steaming requirements.
Anthony Ryan's collection was monotonous, basically the same design over and over - and he did a LOT of those horizontal bars during the season as well. Pretty, but a big yawn. I was really rooting for Uli - her collection was so feminine, and showed a lot more variation on her theme.
Blind hem stitch is my favorite
Dresses of course, but honestly - a great pair of pants!
I would love to gift this to my daughter, who is an aspiring fashion designer.
What fun designs!
As a beginner, I find all of the articles fascinating! But to choose one? I'd say the custom lace blouse
