I love to study what is done to a pattern for inspiration in my own sewing.
Andrea Graham, the Canadian felter makes the greatest handbags, they are out of this world. Of course she makes other great felted Jewelry, pods, scarves, garments and on & on.
I've been thinking of replacing my old hard-to-thread serger, which I rarely use. If I study these new techniques I'm sure I would get into learning all about sergers and make a better choice when selecting a new serger.
Looks like a great book, maybe now I can learn how to drape that sun dress, I've been wanting to do.
I do a lot of surface design samples in classes and to just try out new techniques. It would be wonderful to learn how to actually transform them into fabrics, this sounds like a great book to get some insight into how it's done.
I haven't sewn for a long time and this past year have gotton back into it. It has been great but I'm a little rusty and I'm sure these DVD's would give me a lot of great ideas of how to improve my techniques. Thanks for the chance to win this great set of DVD's.
Looks like a wonderful prize to win!
Chanel, my favorite classic! Those designs have stood the test of time.
I'm alway looking for little things to make as quick gifts, this sounds like a great mag!
